February is here already, it’s crazy! Crazy how quickly time really does fly by. How convenient it starts on a Monday, so make sure you start your week and month on a positive note. I’m always so bias because I love winter so much, but it’s funny I think about how fast time is moving and I’m actually realizing I’m excited that spring and summer is just round the corner. This month is full of excitement between fashion weeks around the world, Valentines Day and a whole bunch of special birthdays between my family and friends. Fashion week kicks off on February 10th at the New York fashion week; keep up with fashion weeks events at www.fashionweekonline.com. I know I am personally so excited to see all that fashion week has to offer this year and I’m sure other fashion lovers are just as stoked as I am! If anyone has been keeping up with the couture fashion week in Paris you might have seen my personal favorite collection that Versace had showed off! The Versace collection was amazing with such unique pieces, I adored them all! It would have been amazing to to be in Paris this month. Could you imagine enjoying all of fashion weeks events, a valentines date to the lock bridge followed by a Parisian dinner, a girl can only dream! Paris has to be the ideal destination to visit in February and is definitely on my bucket list for next year! So it’s inevitable we all relate February to Valentines Day, the one day we actually find it acceptable to eat a whole box or two of chocolates whether we are in a relationship or not. February encourages everyone to feel the love and to spend time with their sweetheart. Even if you aren’t in a relationship it doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself, you deserve it! Don’t ever forget to pamper yourself first!
With the Valentines sneaking up quickly on us, make sure you visit your fully stocked stores ready for the season that will complete your Valentines gifts, like Brown and Co for the perfect Valentine’s Day cards and super cute balloons like I found and featured in my piccies for your loved ones.
I thought I’d share a cute comfy casual Valentine’s inspired outfit with you; something a little brighter then my usual everyday outfits. When incorporating colors, I tend to include them as pops of colors throughout my outfit instead of having them as my main focal point. A plaid shirt tied around the waist has been an effortless trend for ages and it’s not going any where! It easily makes an outfit more fun and I love to pair back my lipstick color to match the pop of color in the plaid shirt. You could easily recreate this outfit or similar for a casual Valentines date on a sunnier day or lunch with friends for the single ladies!
So with Valentines Day around the corner I’m going to be a little Cupid myself keeping you posted with some Valentines inspiration! Between yummy treats, the perfect gift guides for the special some one in your life, ways to pamper yourself for the single babes, dreamy date ideas and so much more!
So stay posted for some Valentines inspired post and more; and don’t forget to follow my Instagram @cicissecret.
