It’s been a while since my last post, but there’s something so much better about blogging during the winter season and I’ve been so excited for everything about winter! I love winter time and all that comes with it! Cozy sweaters, warm drinks, feeding my boot obsession and so much more warm and cozy things winter brings. Of course winter fashion is my favorite of all seasons and I couldn’t live without, what I consider, a few of my winter essentials.
Plaid shirts: There is defiantly some thing undeniable about how well plaid and the winter season go together.plaid is a traditional yet comfortable print that can instantly give your outfit that fall/winter feeling. From classic girly looks like being paired with skater skirts to ’90s grunge oversized plaid shirts or tied round some super cute skinnies, plaid is versatile while always staying on trend.
Faux suede: FAUX SUEDE EVERY THING! I’m loving this winters faux suede trends! I defiantly recommend investing in some suede styles this winter and start playing with some of the current suede styles, it’s a big theme this AW. There seems to be so many suede styles between faux suede bomber jackets, beautiful lace up suede heels, cute button up suede skirts and my personal fave, suede mixed with fringe! I absolutely love it! Not to mention how amazing these styles feel just complete your winter cozy cute looks. Nudes and khaki suede styles have been my personal faves, you can never over stature your winter wardrobe with nudes. Try some of these suede styles with some classic trainers for a street style look or dress them up with a printed heel or boot.
Tartan scarf: Too perfect for pairing with your favorite winter coat and my personal faves are the oversized blanket tartan scarfs to keep you cozy and warm during the upcoming months. A tartan scarf is perfect for your casual Christmasy look to go Christmas shopping, lunch with the girls or to just add a pop of color or pattern to dress up am outfit for the day.
Oversized sweaters: An oversized sweater is my go to for those chillier days. I love finding the perfect oversized sweaters to add to my winter wardrobe. Not all styles suit everyone and some people hate a turtle neck or are like me and just don’t seem to suit a v-neck sweater even on a good hair day, but find what sweater style suits you to complete your personal style. I’m a sucker for a chunky turtle neck or round neck oversized sweater! I’ll usually buy a size up or two just for the extra coziness and to pair them perfectly with some skinnies or leggings but don’t ever be afraid to paid a chunky knit back to a cute midi or even to rock with some dungarees.
Fur vest: Fur vest are a perfect accessory for this winter. To either dress up a simpler outfit or to add some extra needed warmth, I would defiantly say they are a winter must have this season. There are so many cute styles either bomber styles for an edgier look or the classic waterfall or full fur vest for a more girly look.
